After a two-year break due to the Covid pandemic, the annual Tow Truck Toy Run returned to Aggressive Auto Towing’s yard in Abbotsford, B.C., on December 17, 2022. This charitable event brought together the towing community in southwestern British Columbia, and the public, who came to support a good cause and enjoy some holiday fun.

Attendees were invited to bring donations such as non-perishable food items, toys, hygiene products, or gift cards for the Salvation Army to distribute to local families in need.

As recurring supporters of this charitable event, cast members of the popular TV series Highway Thru Hell were on hand for the whole afternoon, signing posters, posing for pictures, and chatting with their fans.

Traditionally, this event has begun with a tow truck procession, and this year was no exception. Dozens of tow trucks, some adorned with Christmas decorations, participated in the parade. The Highway Thru Hell production crew was on set too, capturing the festive atmosphere and charitable spirit.

Thanks to the support of the local towing community and the public, the Tow Truck Toy Run was a great success. The biggest credit goes to sisters Jasmin Lewis and Matia Davis from Aggressive Auto Towing for their hard work in organizing this fourth annual event.

“I am so happy that we were able to pull this off again and had so many supporters, family, and friends come out,” said Jasmin. “It’s just the beginning, since the pandemic put us on hold, but we came back strong and next year it will be even stronger!”
