The Towing and Recovery Association of Alberta will host the 2026 Calgary Tow Truck Show & Shine on Saturday, Aug. 15, bringing together towing professionals, suppliers, industry partners, and families from across Alberta and beyond.
Presented by ARW Truck Equipment Ltd., the event will be held under the theme “Our Industry’s Future,” focusing on the next generation of tow operators and investment in the future of towing businesses, employees, families, and industry partnerships.
The event will feature professionally judged tow truck classes, sponsor displays, door prizes, and networking opportunities. Awards for the judged classes have been donated by ARW Truck Equipment Ltd. and Northern Alberta Tow Truck Sales.
Jamie Davis will also attend throughout the day to meet attendees, sign autographs, and connect with towing professionals and fans.
Families will be a major focus of this year’s event. With support from TowShop.ca, children can participate in a Kids Parade featuring bicycles, scooters, wagons, ride-on toys, pedal cars, and other wheeled vehicles. Face painting and opportunities to explore tow trucks will also be offered.
BrokerLink has contributed $825 toward a WreckMaster training course, which will be awarded to one participant during the event.
The day will conclude with the association’s annual banquet at the Canadian Brewhouse, where award winners will be recognized.
Early registration is encouraged to assist organizers with personalized lanyards, judged vehicle classes, the Kids Parade, goodie bags, and banquet seating.
